About Caitlin Mourek

Chicago suburbs native, I grew up in a creative family. Both of my parents are artists and introduced me to different creative outlets the minute I could walk. Throughout high school I took every art class possible while also training as a pre-professional dancer. Once I hit college I started exploring more digital media and studying interactive media studies and journalism.

Working with non-profits throughout my college career including but not limited to, Gen-Z for Change, my work has been seen in Teen Vogue, CNN, CNBC, NBC, WIRED and other publications. Now currently I work as a freelance graphic artist creating or redoing brands on their social media presence.

The Chronicle Print Edition "Identity"

An editorial based on ones identity. A curation of art, passages, poems, articles, personal essays and more all compiled into one print piece. Students across North Central use the NCC Chronicle not only to escape ones internal dialog, but to share common thoughts upon one another.

"SoleSquad" Rebrand

SoleSquad is a dance team located in North Aurora, IL. They have grown over the years with technique and students, but their online presence stayed the same. I changed their logo, started an instagram, and take professional photos of the dancers to gain more of an online audience to reach more talent in the area.
